Current Documented Version

The maintained source identifies COBBLEVERSE 1.7.42 as the current documentation baseline. The parser injects that value from site-content/version-changes/changes.json; this page does not independently hard-code a second “current” value in UI code.

The installed snapshot and the official release both identify Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric. Cornerstone guides verified during this workstream use 1.7.42 metadata only when their claims were reconciled with that profile.

How Version Verification Works

Each ledger entry requires a version, verification date, summary, at least one categorized change, internal affected-route links, and a descriptive source label. External sources must use HTTPS. The parser rejects invalid dates, duplicate versions, missing current-version entries, empty changes, and malformed links.

“Verified” means the official change statement was reviewed and its affected site routes were identified. It does not mean every upstream bullet was independently reproduced in game. A guide's verification block separately tells you whether its player-facing claims came from in-game testing, bundled data, or external sources.

1.7.42: Current Baseline

The official 1.7.42 changelog documents targeted recipe/crafting fixes, model and riding repairs, selected Pokémon behavior adjustments, general-spawn overlap prevention, battle UI changes, Waystone stability, and a ticking-entity safety system.

Guide impacts:

Legendary Spawning treats time/weather and landmark spawn rules as target-specific; the general overlap fix is not rewritten as a new legendary guarantee.
Rayquaza data and Zygarde data should be interpreted under the current profile after the speed and form-change preservation fixes.
Practical Team Building relies on current form/move data and still requires availability checks.
Economy and Troubleshooting are the affected entry points for recipe/stability discrepancies.

1.7.41b: Performance Recovery

The official 1.7.41/1.7.41b entry warns against 1.7.40, records Rechiseled/Fusion rollbacks for severe lag, describes 4 GB memory improvements, and records a Xaero minimap/world-map rollback for server startup crashes.

These are performance and tool changes, not evidence that a trainer, recipe, or encounter order changed. Use Troubleshooting when a world or server runs a different snapshot, and preserve the exact version before comparing behavior.

1.7.0c: Locator Chip Correction

The official 1.7.0c changelog states that Locator Chip spawn logic in End Cities was corrected. The current Locator Chip item page is the acquisition authority, while Structures and Radars explains how the chip becomes part of later Poke Radar recipes.

This historical entry does not establish current chest odds; the current bundled loot sources and item page control that claim.

1.7: Map Radar and Locator Systems

The official 1.7 changelog introduced the system family underlying current location guidance: dimensional cartography tables, legendary radar maps, exact-coordinate and icon improvements, closest-structure tooltip information, and Kanto/Johto Gym and League locator items.

1.7: Map Radar and Locator Systems - Ho-Oh Radar recipe and tooltip demonstrating the target, dimension, cartography table, and closest-structure search information

Use the current Structures and Radars, Legendary Spawning, Progression Overview, Kanto route, and Johto route rather than treating the old change announcement as a current recipe.

Coverage by Site Area

AreaCurrent documented state
ProgressionCurrent four-region ordering and checkpoint data are verified against the installed profile; older transition history is incomplete.
Encounters and structuresCurrent guides are data-backed; the ledger records the major 1.7 map/radar introduction and selected later fixes, not every historical encounter change.
Recipes and shopsCurrent generated recipe/shop sources are authoritative. Historical values are not reconstructed from screenshots or file timestamps.
Pokémon dataCurrent generated data and priority notes are available. Only official changes with a direct affected route are listed here.
Site toolsTeam Builder, PC, search, and shop behavior are documented from current code. Upstream modpack entries do not imply a site-tool change.

Known Historical Gaps

This is a material-change ledger, not a complete release archive. It intentionally omits undocumented versions, relative publication dates that were not pinned to an authoritative date, and claims reconstructed only from Git history or file modification times.

Legacy legendary, location, and progression guides may still display unverified metadata. That label is the truthful state until current evidence replaces it. Do not infer that an unverified page belongs to the oldest ledger entry.

Report a Missing or Incorrect Change

Open Contact and Corrections with the version, affected URL, exact official release link, and the specific claim that should change. Include an in-game screenshot only when it is privacy-safe and needed to distinguish configured behavior from an official announcement.
